The statue of this Pirate Icon sits outside the ball park at the left field entrance at the end of the Allegheny River Bridge, which is closed off during game day for the public to walk across the river to the stadium. It has a special significance for me, for as a teenager, Clemente signed my Colt .45 program at the old Colt Stadium in Houston, TX. I visited PNC on July 31, 2009. Picture taken by me.
